Dr. Al-Waeli

Dr. Al-Waeli is a certified Periodontist, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University.

Dr. Haider Al-Waeli received a Ph.D from McGill University and a Master in Periodontics from Dalhousie.

Haider enjoys practicing all aspects of Periodontics including surgical and non-surgical periodontal disease management around natural teeth and implants, soft and hard tissue augmentation, and implant replacement therapy.

Dr. Al-Waeli was born and raised in the Iraq where he received his B.D.S. 1992. After working as a general practitioner he enrolled in a Masters Degree and Specialty Program in Periodontology becoming a specialist in 1995. He worked as a Periodontist and assistant professor in Jordan and Malaysia before moving to Canada in 2005.

Dr. Al-Waeli is fluent in English, Arabic and French. In his free time, he enjoys the company of his wife and 2 children, fishing, and playing Soccer and Volleyball.
