Dr. Sayed Mirbod
Periodontist (Principal, Park Lane Dental Specialists)

Dr. Mirbod attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate studies. He received Bachelor and Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering before studying dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Following six years of private practice in Ontario he returned to the University of Manitoba and completed the specialty Periodontics program. He specializes in management of hard and soft tissues surrounding teeth and performs surgical procedures such as crown lengthening, soft tissue grafts, bone grafts, implant placement and biopsies at his two practice locations ( Halifax and Bridgewater). Dr. Mirbod is one of the partners of the Park Lane Dental Specialists and is an associate professor of Dentistry at Dalhousie University.


Tony Fakhory
Accounts Manager

Tony holds his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from Syria. On immigration to Canada he obtained his Dental Assisting Certification and is currently working on his Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Mary’s University. Tony handles all the accounts and bookings for Dr. Mirbod. He is fluent in English and Arabic.




Angie Parker
Registered Dental Hygienist

Angie has been part of the perio team since 1994. She is also a part-time instructor at the School of Dental Hygiene at Dalhousie University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Education Degree from Mount Saint Vincent University and continued her studies at Dalhousie University in the Hygiene Program, graduating in 1994. She originally worked for Dr. Brian Delaney and Dr. Daniel Price at Park Lane Dental Specialists before Dr. Mirbod took over the practice in 2001. Angie has enjoyed working for all three periodontists and knows most of her perio patients within the practice from her years of service.


Ann MacLean
Registered Dental Hygienist

Ann has worked at Park Lane Dental Specialists for several years starting when we were just Birmingham Dental - a small office on Birmingham Street . Over the years she has built up a personal rapport with most of her patients. In her time away from work, Ann has recently taken up kayaking and enjoys her time on the water.

Kelli Chard
Registered Dental Assistant

Kelli joined our practice in 2003 as an additional dental assistant and works very steady between Dr. Roda and Dr. Mirbod and she is a big help to both practices. Kelli is always friendly and helpful and we count on her organizational abilities.
