Evelyn Ramsay
Office Manager

Evelyn took over the day to day operation of our practice with regards to human resources, practice management and liaison . Evelyn has an extended dental background with 15 years experience as a dental assistant, front desk receptionist and practice manager. She joined our practice in 1995 and since then she has helped us grow from a small office on Birmingham Street to the practice we are today. She held her real estate broker license in Manitoba and worked as sales agent for Century 21. Later she joined Canada Employment & Immigration (RRHC) as an Employment Counsellor working in detail on job descriptions, job performances and employment barriers. She transferred later to Employment Development Branch as Financial Operations Officer with Small Business Loans in Manitoba.

On relocation to N.S., she returned to dentistry and has never looked back. She enjoys it so much, that 3 years ago she incorporated to Evelyn Ramsay Inc., and offers practice management to other offices, using a module and team approach. She has been a guest speaker on practice management at Dalhousie University, various dental groups and Strategicedge Financial Counselling. In addition to this, she is also the Exan Mercedes Rep for Power Practice Pro Dental Software System for Atlantic Canada. She is able to sell you a software system for your dental office.

In her spare time she enjoys stain glass, horse back riding, motorcycling and home decorating.


Janetta Tanner
Business Manager

Janetta began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant and was employed by MSI with the children’s dental program. She furthered her studies in business including advanced accounting and worked in the field of finance for over 25 years with her achievements being the owner/operator of a construction company for l5 years , owner of a number of restaurants and is currently business manager at Park Lane Dental Specialists, along with operating her own accounting business.
